Moving a File from One Directory to Another Using the File Manager

To move a file in your hosting account from one directory to another using the Hosting Control Center's File Manager

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. In the My Products section, select Hosting Account List.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to manage, click Open.
  4. In the Content section of the Hosting Control Center, click the File Manager icon.
  5. Use the directory tree to navigate to where the file resides that you want to move.
  6. Select the file and click the Move button.
  7. Select the directory from the Root Tab into which you would like to Move the selected file(s).
  8. Click OK.

The file you selected will now be moved to the destination you selected.
