Adding a Subdomain to Your Hosting Account

Last Updated: August 3, 2007 12:21 PM

A subdomain is an easy way to create a memorable web address for various areas of your site. For example, you could create a subdomain for pictures on your site called "pics." Anybody that comes to your Web site could type pics.example.com instead of www.example.com/pics.

NOTE: This process has been modified under Hosting Configuration 2.0. If you do not know which configuration your hosting account runs, see How can I find what hosting configuration my account is running?.
