PTGWebDomains.com uses the phone number you provide to place an automated telephone call, which must be completed in order for PTGWebDomains.com to issue a Certified Domain seal for your domain. Along with the domain authorization and fraud screening processes, the phone verification helps ensure that domains indeed can be trusted.
PTGWebDomains.com does not allow the following types of phone numbers for the telephone verification step:
- Pre-paid mobile numbers
- Toll-free numbers
- Restricted numbers (including numbers that start with "0")
- Numbers with the following area codes:
- 411
- 900
- 911
- Non-fixed VoIP numbers
