Canceling a Domain Name

Canceling a domain does not entitle you to a refund of any part of your registration fee. Once you have canceled a domain it is no longer registered to you. It will be listed as available for others to register. This is a permanent action. You may re-register this domain at a later time and for additional registration fees.

To Cancel a Domain in the NEW Domain Control Center

1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. From the Domain Names menu, select Manage Domains. The Domain Control Center opens.
3. In your list of domain names, use the checkboxes to select the domain name(s) that you want to cancel.
4. Above your list of domain names, click Cancel.
5. In the Cancel Domain section, read the cancellation warning. Then, if you choose to proceed, select the Cancel Domains checkbox, and then click OK.
