Managing Your DNS When You Host Your Site on Your Own Servers

You can use our Total DNS Control to manage your DNS, even if you host your site on your own servers.

To Manage Your DNS Using the NEW Domain Control Center

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. From the Domain Names menu, select Manage Domains. The Domain Control Center opens.
  3. In your list of domain names, click on the domain name that you want to view. The Details for the selected domain display.
  4. Under the Total DNS Control section, click Manage Subdomains or Total DNS Control and MX Records.

Under Manage Subdomains, you can create and manage subdomain that are forwarded to another URL in your account. Under Total DNS Control and MX Records, you can modify the zone file (A records and MX records) for your domain.

NOTE: You can only use Total DNS Control if you are using our nameservers for your domain.
