Accessing Your Online File Folder Using an FTP Client

You can access your Online File Folder account from a remote location using an FTP client. Some common FTP clients are:

Once you download the FTP client you want to use, you are ready to connect to Online File Folder and manage your files and folders. You will need the following information:

  • FTP User Name - This is the user name for your Online File Folder account.
  • FTP Password - This is the password for your Online File Folder account.
  • Web Site URL - http://www.onlinefilefolder.com
  • FTP Site URL - ftp://www.onlinefilefolder.com

To Connect to your Online File Folder

  1. Open the FTP Client.
  2. In the menu bar at the top, enter the Web site URL: www.onlinefilefolder.com
  3. Enter your Online File Folder user name and password.
  4. Press Enter or click the connection button.

Once you are connected to your Online File Folder, the folder structure displays in one pane of your window. You can now manage your files and folders in your Online File Folder.

NOTE: Online File Folder supports active and passive mode for FTP. Extended passive mode is not supported.
