With Quick Blogcast, you can set up hot keys to insert text in your comments using the Ctrl key and any keystroke. Hot keys are a convenient way to repeat the same phrase in multiple comments without retyping the comment. For example, you may want to create a hot key that inserts the phrase, "Thank you for your comments. We will carefully consider your suggestions for a future release of our product."
To Set a Hot Key
- From the Manage Blog menu, click Settings.
- Click the Hot Keys tab.
- Click Add New Hot Key.
- In the CTRL + field, specify the key combination you want to use to insert the Hot Key text.
- In the Replacement Text field, specify the text you want to insert when pressing the Hot Key combination.
- Click Save.
To Edit a Hot Key
- From the Manage Blog menu, click Settings.
- Click the Hot Keys tab.
- Click the Edit button for the hot key you want to edit.
- Edit the hot key information.
- Click Save.
