About Subscription Feeds

RSS is a Web content syndication format. With Quick Blogcast, you can subscribe to Web sites using RSS, such as news sites and blogs, and add the subscription to your blogcast site. Content from the Web site you subscribe to displays on your site. Subscription content is updated in real-time. When the author submits an updated post, your Web page reflects the update.

Note:Before adding a subscription feed you will have to get a RSS feed Url from the site you are subscribing to.

To Add a Subscription Feed to Your Blogcast Site

  1. From the Manage Blog menu, select Services.
  2. In the Service Url field enter the Url of the feed you want to add to your site.
  3. Click Add service

Note:You will need to publish your site before your feed will display. For information about publishing your site, see Publishing Your Quick Blogcast Site.

To Edit or Remove a Subscription Feed on Your Blogcast Site

  1. From the Manage Blog menu, select Services. You have two options:
  2. Edit the subscription feed
    To edit your feed, make your changes in the service Url field of the feed you want to edit. Click Save Changes.
    Delete the subscription feed
    Click the delete button next the the feed you want to remove. The delete button is the "X" to the right of the feed Url.
