Setting Up .MOBI Domains

To Set Up a .MOBI Web Page

Note:With .MOBI domains, you can only add mobile page layouts; you cannot add traditional page layouts.

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. From My Products, click WebSite Tonight Accounts.
  3. Click Setup Account next to the account you want to set up.
  4. To accept the terms of use, click Accept. The Hosting Control Center window opens.
  5. From the User Information page, enter your information in the following fields:
    6. Domain Name
    Select an existing domain name from the list or enter a name for your hosting account.
    User Name
    Create a user name that you will use when logging in to your Quick Blogcast site.
    Password and Confirm New Password
    Create and verify the password that you will use when logging in to your Quick Blogcast site.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Verify your account information, and if it is correct, click Submit.
  8. Click Launch WebSite Tonight.
  9. Locate and select the template you want to use, and then click Next.
    Templates that include "css" in their title use a cascading style sheet (css) to dictate the layout of content. Using a css-based template allows you to switch to other css-based templates without having to add your content again. When you switch from one css-based template to another, your content remains.

    NOTE: Only resellers can use Reseller templates. If you select to use a Reseller template, you must enter your Reseller Prog ID.

  10. From the Select a Color Theme section, select the color you want to use in your Web site, and then click Next.
  11. From Choose Page Layout, select Mobile Web Page, and then select the layout you want to use.
  12. Click Finish. Continue creating your Web site.
