Setting Up DomainAlert Pro Backordering

Last Updated: April 24, 2007 4:53 PM

If you're interested in purchasing a domain that someone else registered, you can place a backorder on the domain to purchase it if it becomes available. When you configure the backorder, you can set the backorder as public or private. Private backorders prevent your personal information from being listed in the WHOIS directory at any time during the backorder and registration process. For more information about setting up backorders with privacy, see Setting Up Domain Backordering With Privacy.

If the backorder is not successful, you can reassign it to another domain name.
